Hillsborough County Tax Collector, Nancy C. Millan announced the opening of a temporary office location to serve Hillsborough County customers during the closure of the North Tampa office.

The North Tampa office is being expanded by 5,000 square feet.  The new and improved office, set to be re-opened in the fall, will have new and innovative service features such a self-service stations and virtual agent stations along with more lobby seating and customer service stations.

The temporary space will open on Monday, June 26th, and is adjacent to their existing location at 3011 University Center Drive in Tampa. Debit, credit, and check payments will be accepted for transactions in the temporary office site. No cash payments will be accepted.

The temporary space will have limited capacity, so Millan encourages customers to take advantage of the Tax Collector’s online services when possible, including online driver license and registration renewals, property tax payments and business tax payments.  Convenient online services include Express Lane services for registration renewals with same day pickup in select Tax Collector locations.

Customers can also access other offices conveniently located throughout Hillsborough County.  Visit hillstax.org/location for a listing of all locations.  Offices are open at 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesdays. Driver License services are available until 3:30 p.m.
