Mid-Year State of the Organization Video Showcases Innovation, Expanded Services, and Award-Winning Excellence

TAMPA, Fla., July 16, 2025 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office is proud to share its mid-year accomplishments through a comprehensive video highlighting groundbreaking service innovations and the agency’s prestigious recognition as a 2025 Governor’s Sterling Award recipient.

The organization has achieved remarkable milestones in the first half of 2025, demonstrating a commitment to serving the community with excellence and innovation. Key accomplishments featured in the video include the introduction of smart lockers that allow private dealers to efficiently drop off and pick up title paperwork, streamlining operations for both businesses and customers.

Building on the success of Student Saturday events, the office has expanded this popular event to Saturday License Services, responding directly to the growing needs of Hillsborough County’s expanding population. This enhancement provides residents with more convenient access to essential services during weekend hours.

The office’s dedication to excellence has been formally recognized with the 2025 Governor’s Sterling Award, Florida’s highest honor for organizational performance excellence. This prestigious award acknowledges the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office for its outstanding commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and exceptional service delivery.
