Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office Hosting Hiring Event for Customer Service and Driving Test Positions
Governor’s Sterling Award-Winning Organization Seeks Dedicated Team Members to Serve Growing Community
TAMPA, Fla., September 24, 2025 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office (HCTC) will host a special Hiring Event on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the North Tampa Office (3011 University Center Drive, Suite 150, Tampa, FL 33612). The office is actively recruiting Customer Service Representatives ($20.00/hour) and Driving Test Examiners ($15.56/hour) for both full-time and part-time positions.
As a 2025 Governor’s Sterling Award recipient, HCTC continues its commitment to organizational excellence while serving over one million customers annually across nine locations throughout Hillsborough County.

Customer Service Representatives will assist residents with essential services including driver licenses, vehicle registrations, property taxes, and business licenses. Candidates must be 21 years or older, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have at least one year of customer service experience.
Driving Test Examiners will play a crucial role in ensuring road safety by conducting driving assessments. Requirements include being 21 years or older, holding a valid Florida Driver License with at least four years of driving experience, and possessing a high school diploma or GED.
