Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office to Close in Observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
TAMPA, Fla., January 13, 2026 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. All office locations will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
“We honor Dr. King’s legacy of service, equality, and community,” said Tax Collector Nancy Millan. “While our offices will be closed, we remain committed to serving our community through our other accessible service options including online services and self-service kiosks.”
Tax Collector Nancy Millan encourages residents to. Customers can take advantage of the office’s convenient online services available 24/7 at HillsTaxFL.gov during the closure, including:
- Renewing vehicle registrations;
- Paying property taxes;
- Ordering disabled parking permits;
- And more.
Self-service registration renewal kiosks are available at select Publix locations throughout Hillsborough County and at MacDill AFB for those with base access.
