Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office to Remain Closed on Friday, September 27th Due to Hurricane Helene

As Hurricane Helene continues to impact our area, the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office will remain closed on Friday, September 27th.
Safety First
“The safety of our residents and staff remains our top priority as we navigate through Hurricane Helene,” said Nancy Millan, Hillsborough County Tax Collector. “We urge everyone to continue taking precautions and staying informed as the storm progresses”
Online Services Available 24/7
While Tax Collector physical offices will be closed, customers can still access a wide range of services online at hillstax.org. Whether you need to renew your vehicle registration, pay property taxes, or manage other transactions, the online services are available 24/7 to serve you.
Customers can also use self-service kiosks at eight Publix locations throughout Hillsborough County to renew vehicle registrations, pending Publix store hours and any potential closures.
The Tax Collector’s Office will continue to monitor the storm and provide updates about any additional closures on their website and social media channels.
