Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office Transitions To Official Government Domain Hillstaxfl.Gov: Your Trusted Connection To Essential Government Services

TAMPA, Fla., April 11, 2025 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office announces the launch of its new official website domain, hillstaxfl.gov, replacing the previous hillstax.org address. This transition represents a significant step in enhancing security, accessibility, and public trust in the agency’s online services.

The new domain follows the federal government’s standard for official government entities, providing residents with a trusted connection to essential government services. All web pages and email communications from the Tax Collector’s Office will now utilize the hillstaxfl.gov extension, which is exclusively reserved for government agencies.

All existing links to the previous hillstax.org website will automatically redirect to the corresponding pages on the new hillstaxfl.gov domain for a transition period. However, residents and business partners are encouraged to update their bookmarks and references to reflect the new domain.

This initiative is part of the Tax Collector’s ongoing efforts to enhance cybersecurity measures and provide residents with confidence that they are accessing legitimate government services when conducting business online with the office.

The Tax Collector’s Office provides a wide range of services to Hillsborough County residents, including property tax collection, vehicle registrations, driver license services, and hunting and fishing permits. All these services can now be accessed through the new hillstaxfl.gov website.
