Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office Will be Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

TAMPA, Fla., November 18, 2025 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. All office locations throughout the county will resume normal business hours on Monday, December 1, 2025.

“We’re grateful for the trust our residents place in us and for the dedicated #TeamHCTC members who work tirelessly to serve our community,” said Tax Collector Nancy Millan. “We wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving with their loved ones.”

While physical offices will be closed, residents can continue to access many services through alternative channels:

Online Services Available 24/7

Customers can complete numerous transactions at HillsTaxFL.gov, including:

• Property tax payments
• Vehicle registration renewals
• Driver license renewals (eligible customers)
• Business tax receipts

Self-Service Registration Renewal Kiosks

For added convenience, registration renewal kiosks are available at the following locations:

• Select Publix locations throughout Hillsborough County (subject to individual store hours)
• MacDill Air Force Base Main Exchange – available to support our military community with fast, convenient vehicle registration renewals
