Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office Will be Closed on Monday, September 1st in Observance of Labor Day Holiday

TAMPA, Fla., August 26, 2025 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, in observance of Labor Day. All office locations throughout the county will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

This holiday allows our dedicated team members to spend time with their families while celebrating the contributions of working people everywhere.”

While physical offices will be closed, residents can continue to access many services through alternative channels:

Online Services Available 24/7 Customers can complete numerous transactions at hillstaxfl.gov, including:

• Vehicle registration renewals
• Driver license renewals (eligible customers)
• Business tax receipts
• Property tax payments

Registration Renewal Kiosks For added convenience, registration renewal kiosks are available at select Publix locations throughout Hillsborough County. These self-service kiosks allow customers to renew their vehicle registrations quickly and easily. Kiosk availability is subject to individual store hours.
