Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office Will be Closed on Tuesday, November 11th in Observance of Veterans Day
TAMPA, Fla., November 7, 2025 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in observance of Veterans Day. All office locations throughout the county will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
“Veterans Day is an opportunity for us to pause and honor the brave men and women who have served our nation with courage and distinction,” said Tax Collector Nancy Millan. “We are deeply grateful for the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families in defense of our freedoms. Their dedicated service to our country deserves our highest respect and recognition.”
While physical offices will be closed, residents can continue to access many services through alternative channels:
Online Services Available 24/7
Customers can complete numerous transactions at HillsTaxFL.gov, including:
- Property tax payments
- Vehicle registration renewals
- Driver license renewals (eligible customers, through MyDMV Portal)
- Business tax receipts
Self-Service Registration Renewal Kiosks
For added convenience, registration renewal kiosks are available at the following locations:
- Select Publix locations throughout Hillsborough County (subject to individual store hours)
- MacDill Air Force Base Main Exchange – available to support our military community with fast, convenient vehicle registration renewals
