Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Offices Closed New Year’s Day; Online Services Available 24/7

TAMPA, Fla., December 29, 2025 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2025, in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday. All nine office locations will resume normal business hours on Friday, January 2, 2025.

Customers are encouraged to use the office’s convenient online services and self-service kiosks, which remain available 24/7 throughout the holiday.

“I want to wish our Hillsborough County community a Happy New Year!” said Nancy Millan, Hillsborough County Tax Collector. “While our offices will be closed in observance of the new year holiday, we’re committed to providing flexible, convenient options that fit our customers’ schedules through online services and other convenient service options.”

• Renew vehicle registrations
• Order personalized or specialty license plates
• Download instant proof of registration
• And more

MyDMV Portal (MyDMVPortal.flhsmv.gov):

• Renew driver licenses (if eligible)
• Clear certain driver license suspensions
• Update address information
• View driving record
• And more
