As Hurricane Milton continues to develop, see what roads, bridges, businesses, and other facilities are closing. This list will be updated and is separated by county.


 

Publix

Winn-Dixie


HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY

 

  • Hillsborough County Tax Collector offices will close at 12 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, and remain closed through Wednesday, Oct. 9.
  • Tampa Bay History Center will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and Wednesday, Oct. 9.
  • All parks, preserves and recreation centers will close Monday, Oct. 7.
  • The FEMA Mobile Disaster Recovery Center located at Hillsborough Community College is closed as of Monday, Oct. 7.
  • The Tampa Bay History Center will close at 12 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, and remain closed through Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Florida Aquarium

  • The Florida Aquarium will close Tuesday through Thursday. Guests who have bought tickets for those days can email MoreInfo@FLAquarium.org or call (813) 273-4000 to reschedule.

Tampa International Airport

  • TPA will suspend all commercial and cargo operations beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday ahead of Hurricane Milton, with the airport remaining closed to the public until it can assess any damage after the storm.

ZooTampa

  • ZooTampa will be closed starting Tuesday, Oct. 8, through Thursday, Oct. 10.

HERNANDO COUNTY

 

  • All district offices will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 9.

MANATEE COUNTY

 

  • Manatee Clerk’s Office will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and Wednesday, Oct. 9.
  • The FEMA Mobile Disaster Recovery Center at Lakewood Ranch Library is closed as of Monday, Oct. 7.

PASCO COUNTY

 

  • All recreation complexes, including Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus, will be closed starting Monday, Oct. 7, until further notice.
  • Parks will be closed beginning Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 5 p.m.
  • Pasco County Government offices will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 9.

PINELLAS COUNTY

 

  • Pinellas County Tax Collector offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 7 through Thursday, Oct. 10.
  • Department of Health (DOH) Pinellas offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 7, and remain closed until further notice.
  • All county parks and preserves will be closed Monday through Wednesday.
  • The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) plans to suspend all service, including paratransit, beginning at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8. PSTA will still assist the Pinellas County EOC with emergency evacuations until wind speeds reach 40 mph.
  • Access to the Barrier Islands from the Dunedin Causeway through Tierra Verde will be closed on Tuesday from 7 p.m. until further notice.

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport

  • The St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport announced that all Allegiant flights are canceled Wednesday and Thursday. The airport will suspend operations after its last flight departs on Tuesday.

City of Largo

  • All recreation, library, and performing arts center programs are canceled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Polk County

 

  • Polk County Government Offices Will Be Closed Due to Hurricane Milton on Wednesday and Thursday

SARASOTA COUNTY

 

  • The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center located at Sarasota Christian Church is closed as of Monday, Oct. 7.
  • Waste Management of Sarasota has suspended all residential collection services for trash, recycling, and yard waste on the mainland of Sarasota County for Monday, Oct. 7, and Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport

  • SRQ will close at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, due to Hurricane Milton. It will reopen once it is safe to do so.

Disney World and Universal Studios
Both theme parks will close Wednesday afternoon ahead of Milton.
