LAST CHANCE: HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY PROPERTY TAX DEADLINE APPROACHING

TAMPA, Fla., March 25, 2025 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office is reminding property owners that the deadline to pay 2024 property taxes is fast approaching. Property taxes will become delinquent if they remain unpaid on April 1, 2025.

“We want to ensure all Hillsborough County property owners are aware of this important deadline,” said Tax Collector Nancy Millan. “Paying on time helps avoid the delinquent penalties and interest. Our office offers several convenient payment options to make the process as easy as possible for our residents.”

The Tax Collector’s Office encourages property owners to take advantage of their online payment system, which provides a fast, secure, and easy way to pay taxes before the deadline. Online payments can be made 24/7 at hillstax.org.

Payment Options:

  • Online: Visit hillstax.org to pay via eCheck/ACH (free from third-party fees) or credit/debit card
  • By Mail: Payments must be postmarked by March 31, 2025
  • In Person: Visit any Hillsborough County Tax Collector Office during regular business hours or drop your payment by check in a drop box outside the office
