All Hillsborough County Tax Collector Offices Closed for Christmas Holiday Extending Office Hours for Taxpayers on December 28th, 29th, and 30th

Tampa, FL— December 21, 2021 — All Hillsborough County Tax Collector offices will be closed on Friday, December 24th, and Monday, December 27th, for the Christmas holiday. The Tax Collector offices will be extending their office hours by one hour on the 28th, 29th, and 30th to help taxpayers get their property tax payments and vehicle registrations in before the end of the year.

“Due to how the holiday schedule falls this year, we will be closed both on Monday, the 27th and Friday, the 31st,” says Nancy C. Millan, Hillsborough County Tax Collector. “To help our taxpayers, we will be extending our office hours on the 28th, 29th, and 30th by one hour so that we can help process the year-end property tax payments and vehicle registrations.” she continued.

Taxpayers can get a 3% discount on their property taxes if they pay before the end of the year.

Even though the Tax Collector offices may be closed, you can still access many of our services, like property tax payments, at hillstax.org.
