Downtown Branch Closes During RNC – Aug,20-31, 2012

TAMPA, FL – (July 30, 2012) The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office located at 601 East Kennedy Boulevard in Downtown Tampa will be closed from August 20th through August 31st for the Republican National Convention.

Tax Collector, Doug Belden, encourages customers to renew online or visit one of the Tax Collector’s other satellite offices.  “Closing our Downtown office was necessary because there will be limited access to the County Center building the week before and during the Republican National Convention. However, we have several other offices conveniently located throughout Hillsborough County to serve the public,” Belden said.

Our offices open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.   Driver License service hours are 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.  Limited driver license services are offered at the Tax Collector’s Brandon, East Hillsborough, and West County, Plant City, and South County satellite offices.  Limited services include transfer of out of state licenses and issuance of renewal, duplicate and replacement licenses and identification cards.
