TAMPA, FL – (December 8, 2016) – Doug Belden, Tax Collector recognizes Hillsborough County Sheriff Deputy Steve Donaldson for saving baby’s life.

Deputy Donaldson is being honored for his act of heroism on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the East Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office located at 2814 E. Hillsborough Ave.

On November 4th, 2016, Shakira Nelson ran frantically into the Hillsborough Tax Collector’s East Tampa office with her unresponsive 15-month old son in her arms.
