Hillsborough County Tax Collector Nancy C. Millan reminds Hillsborough County constituents that 2020 property and tangible taxes are due by end of March.

Tampa, FL — March 8, 2021

Hillsborough County Tax Collector Nancy C. Millan reminds Hillsborough County property owners that 2020 property and tangible taxes are due by March 31st to avoid penalty. Property taxes become payable every year by November 1st and become delinquent on April 1st, at which time interest and delinquent fees are added.

“In order to avoid delinquent fees, I encourage customers to make their 2020 property tax payment as soon as possible,” said Millan. “We offer a variety of easy and secure payment methods for added convenience.”

Customers do not need to visit an office to make their payments. Taxpayers have easy and convenient online payment options by either credit card or by “e-Check,” which is a free electronic payment from your bank account. There are also alternative payment options available. Property owners can make partial payments towards their 2020 property taxes, but certain restrictions apply. If taxpayers choose to visit a branch to make a property tax payment, we have payment drop boxes at most locations for your convenience.
