Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office Joins the 100% Club by Completing Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody’s Human Trafficking Training

Tampa, FL — September 15, 2023

The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office proudly announces its successful completion of the Human Trafficking Training program led by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody. With an unwavering commitment to public service and social responsibility, every single team member of the Tax Collector’s Office has participated in the comprehensive training, propelling the organization into the esteemed “100 Percent Club.”

The Human Trafficking Training initiative, spearheaded by Attorney General Moody, aims to equip public servants and community members with the necessary knowledge and tools to identify and combat human trafficking. By engaging in this training, the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office has taken a significant step toward preventing and addressing this heinous crime within the community.

“The completion of the Human Trafficking Training by our entire staff at the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office demonstrates our unwavering dedication to public welfare and protection,” stated Nancy C. Millan, Hillsborough County Tax Collector. “We firmly believe that education and awareness play a pivotal role in combating human trafficking, and we are proud to join the 100 Percent Club by ensuring that each employee has received this vital training.”

Human trafficking remains a pressing issue in Florida and across the nation.
