Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Offices To Close At 2 P.M. On Tuesday

Tampa, FL — July 6, 2021

Hillsborough County Tax Collector offices will close at 2 p.m. on Tuesday as weather conditions are forecast to deteriorate.

TAMPA, FL — Hillsborough County Tax Collector offices will close at 2 p.m. on Tuesday as weather conditions are forecast to deteriorate with the approach of Tropical Storm Elsa.

Hillsborough County is now under a hurricane watch. Although the center of Tropical Storm Elsa is expected to remain offshore as it passes by the Tampa Bay area, tropical storm winds could begin impacting our area as soon as Tuesday afternoon.

“In an abundance of caution, we are closing our facilities today at 2:00 in order to give our customers and our employees enough time to get safely home before Tropical Storm Elsa’s arrival,” said Nancy C. Millan, Tax Collector.

Customers who had previously scheduled visits for this afternoon will be notified and rescheduled. Visit hillstax.org for updates to our office openings as we monitor this storm.

Online services are still available at hillstax.org.
