Sen. Janet Cruz To Host Tampa Bay Job Fair Wednesday

Tampa, FL — July 26, 2021

More than 90 employers are expected to attend the job fair with up to 1,000 job openings.

TAMPA, FL — CareerSource Tampa Bay and Sen. Janet Cruz, D-Tampa, will hold an annual job fair on Wednesday, July 28, at Higgins Hall, 5225 N. Himes Ave. in Tampa, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free for job seekers.

More than 90 employers are expected to attend the job fair with up to 1,000 job openings.

Employers from a variety of different job sectors will be in attendance including nonprofits, health care, manufacturing and trades, government, education, marketing, construction, law enforcement, retail, restaurant and food service, transportation and IT.

Employers who will attend the hiring event include Eckerd Connects, Conti Electric, Childcare Careers, Hillsborough County Public Schools, OneTeam Financial Group, Hillsborough Tax Collector, Angels Unaware Inc., Aramark, Burger 21, HART, Premier Community Healthcare, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, T-Mobile, MacDill Air Force Base Human Resource Office, the city of Tampa, Moffitt Cancer Center, University of South Florida, Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County Florida Inc., Tampa Bay Pipe Trades, Tampa International Airport and Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Employers will have bilingual information or bilingual people available for the job fair.
Several community service organizations will also join in to participate in the job fair.

No preregistration is required.
