Tampa, FL — September 3, 2019
TAMPA, FL – (February 25, 2019) The Hillsborough County Tax Collector is hosting a press conference at its Brandon office to showcase a new motor vehicle self-service kiosk to renew vehicle registrations.
The Hillsborough County Tax Collector is the first office in the state of Florida to offer a self-service kiosk with easy-to-use touch screen prompts to renew vehicle registrations. The kiosk allows customers to pay with cash or credit card and get their vehicle registration and decal in as little as two minutes without having to wait in line. Tax Collector Doug Belden, Mr. Drew Nicholson, Chief Operating Officer of Intellectual Technology Inc. (ITI); Ms. Terry Rhodes, Executive Director of the state’s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; and other partners and dignitaries will attend the event.
Doug Belden’s management philosophy is to improve business processes to make them better, faster, and cheaper. He’s never satisfied with the status quo and will continue to strive for excellence. Providing a self-service kiosk is just another innovative way the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office is striving to provide excellent customer service, which is the office’s number one priority.
